Well done to Tony Grimley who picked up a award at the annual construction awards at Central Sussex College.

Tony Grimley

Tony shone above all other candidates this year to pick up his award as the top pupil in the NVQ level 3 construction category

Well done Tony!!

Len Nugent and David Bellamy

Every ones a Winner!

Recently Len Nugent went to the tower of London to pick up a award on behalf of the company that recognised the recycling that we do within the group.

On site we are always looking to recycle as much material as we can, whether this is reinforced steel, hardcore, timber, etc, and at head office Dawn o Dwyer is our champion recycling all printer cassettes, mobile phones, and waste paper, etc, "Dawn throws nothing away".

As well as helping the world in which we all live, all this recycling however small, adds to our net margin, a "win-win for everyone" (Were possible please help and recycle as much as possible on site)

As some of you may have heard we have been entering various business awards with categories ranging from Health &Safety to Staff Training. Much to our surprise we had been selected as finalists for The National Business Awards, Sussex Business Awards, Sussex Chamber of Commerce, The best of Business Awards and The Sussex Spring Awards.

And even more surprisingly we have now been award the winner for Training & Development by the National Business Awards regional finals, Sussex Spring Awards and the Chamber of Commerce, not to forget winners for commitment to Health & Safety by the Best of Business awards and there's still more to come.

Many of the judges found there was quite uniqueness to us as one judge commented. "There is an honest commitment to their staff, which has no boundaries, producing a family unit of dedicated staff."

Each judge found something that made us stand out from the rest, recognising that quality of practice and dedication, which is so unusual within our industry.

With our mission endeavouring to be the best through the pursuit of best practice and to gain an unrivalled reputation for developing our work force, winning these awards was not about gaining a trophy to put on the wall, but about staff recognition, giving thanks to all our staff for their hard work, loyalty and drive.

It is the staff that is the core, giving a solid stem to branch out from.
